I will fail and succeed over and over and over again...

My name is Bianca Isabella, and by now I’ve figured out that I will fail and succeed over and over and over again.

That being said, this journal is for me to document the process of starting my first solo music project. Honestly, and in real time.

I first started, and continue to play music as the bassist and co-vocalist in Marry. The band has taught me everything I know about the power of music, divine collaboration, and meticulous craft. Along the way, I realized I needed a world where I could freely explore the capacity of my voice, the depth of my ideas, and the true sight of my vision.

I'll share what I do: songwriting, rehearsal, the moments in between. I'll talk about my soul. I’ll talk about the artists I love, my moments of inspiration, and my moments of doubt. Do know that this is not simply a one-way mirror. I invite you to share your daydreams, and innermost wonder alongside me. Together, we can find the answers to questions I'm still searching for.

I am learning what it means to take full responsibility for a dream—to find a band, a brand, and to show up for myself after years of pent up fear of my own power.

This journal is a record of building something from nothing. I am not too sure where I'll end up, but at least I will know how I got there. I hope when you read along, you feel close. Not just to me, but to your own artistry.
